The Need for Simple, Scalable Access

Managing a community-driven space means juggling access for a wide range of users. For Halte Zomervilla, that includes personnel, parents, volunteers, and staff—many of whom need flexible, reliable access. The team needed a better way to manage access to their building. Physical keys were becoming difficult to handle—people could lose them, forget to return them, or need new ones all the time. That’s why they started looking for a digital access solution. Today, three Tapkey smart locks are installed on Halte Zomervilla’s main entrance doors. While a few NFC transponders are in use, most of the 55 users rely on their smartphones to unlock the doors. On a daily basis, around 25 people come and go—without the need to juggle traditional keys.
