“Around 50 people use the Tapkey locks regularly,” Berti explains. Each person chooses whether they prefer NFC tags or smartphones: “90% of people use the tags, but some have fully switched to smartphones. It really depends on the work environment,” he adds. It doesn’t get much more flexible than that.

“We definitely want to expand the system further. Tapkey offers so many possibilities that we’re far from done,” says Berti. The team is particularly excited about the new version of the Tapkey Web Portal, which could take access management to the next level.
